Davy-san!
Davy did a very silly thing last week. Basically, it was silly because he did it for me. ^_^
I was admiring his lovely photos of Seattle that he occasionally sends the links of, and I told him nonchalantly that I was hoping to get a digital camera one day. It would be nice, since my last cheap-assed film camera just decided to stop taking pictures where I'm aiming at, due to possible repeated dropping of said camera a thousand times over many years. Anyway, Davy takes really great photos, and he apparently has a new digital camera which he adores very much.
I had always wanted one since I got my hands on that camera in the CEMIS center within QHS back in 1996. It was this huge black and white digital camera, worth a thousand dollars, and could only take weird dinky things that would eventually upload and print with a resolution of 50 dpi if you were lucky. I still have this classic picture of B hiding in her hoodie with two thumbs up, showing only her nose. She didn't like it very much as she was decidedly against having any pictures taken of her back then to be printed, but I learned to be a paparazzi type and I would have done it again if I could. (How terrible, I know.)
I then lamented to Davy over the net that I don't have the means to buy one at this time, and he informed me that I could obtain one for less than a hundred, at Future Shop. I also lack a credit card, I told him.
Anyway, next thing I knew, Davy asked me what my mailing address was. I told him it was not necessary even though I was flattered and flabbergasted.
So this morning I got a UPS delivery with two boxes, one my new 1 Mpx camera and one a CD inside a DVD container. I was having fun all day... :)
Now, if only I can find a place to upload the photos for free... :):):)
Thank you Davy, from the bottom of my heart! *Hugs and kisses!*

I went to Toronto for the Thanksgiving weekend, with my family. We were visiting my mother's godmother for her 80th birthday, and we had fun at the banquet. :) I'm sure I could go on about the weekend, but I'm really tired right now. I'll write about it later.
In the meantime, I want to upload those photos...
